Gemini Heat Set Varnishes
Are all made with ingredients that are non-toxic and UV resistant with no additives or experimental ingredients.
They are designed to use strait out of the jar without thinning.
Thinning Medium:
Sets on its own so it can be used as a glaze and has a slight texture or can be used as a thinning medium. Because it sets on its own there is no maximum limit when using as a thinner.
Using a temperature between 265 and 270 F. and leaving it in for 12-15 min. seams to work the best. We know that 15 min. at 270 works good and also have tried 12 min. with pretty good results. We encourage you to experiment with your oven to see what time and temperature works best for you.
